My blog keeps disappearing! That is a serious problem. But, I must say I am a little relieved because then I can pretend that there is a good reason for not posting sooner. Colton is now 7 months old (yesterday) and Molly is 7 years old (today)! We are celebrating in the Reeder household. Speaking of celebrations, this past week, I started a new job....

Six Months

Colton is six months old!  Can you believe it? I absolutely love this age.  He is very expressive, makes a lot of noise when he is happy (this is a nice departure from only hearing from him when he is angry), and is still super cute.  He has his check up next week, so I don't have any weight or height stats for you yet.  But here are the basics:

-no teeth yet
-eating solid food 3 times a day (he loves it, can't you tell?)
-wears size 3 diapers
-wears size 6 months clothes
-sits some with assistance
-rolls over from stomach to back (but not freely)

Colton found his feet a couple of weeks ago and really loves sucking on them. I tried to catch him in the act but he stopped when he saw my face.  I have that effect on men. OK, just him- but still.

Long Time, No Post

OK. So you know I do not "do" Facebook. Oddly enough, the reason why is related to another point- why it has been 20+ days since my last post. The explanation for both can be summed up with one word-Pinterest. A while back, I tuned into the buzz at work centered around cute ideas/crafts/recipes/etc. from Pinterest. "What was Pinterest?" I wondered. My curiosity was piqued. I clicked over to check it out shortly after I penned my last post. Mistake. BIG mistake. (Confession: I am slightly compulsive and very easily distracted from any of the real things I should be doing.) As a result,  Pinterest has become a very convenient way to visually surf the internet for all things fantastic instead of __insert important task here    . A bonus to spending so much time on Pinterest is that I can also find out what my friends are adding to their online pin boards. All the stalking of Facebook without the ridiculous friend requests and status updates.... I digress. I will be back with pictures of the family, including updates on Colton's cuteness. In the meantime, check out my pin boards.
